The Beacon Center
Emory United Methodist Church is a free standing structure, currently located on a prominent hill side at the intersection of Georgia Ave. and Quackenbos Street, NW. PGN has helped the church and its development arm, Emory Beacon of Light, realize its vision for revitalization of the Brightwood neighborhood.
The project will expand the existing church to 500 seats, add new offices, classrooms and other church related uses, create new gymnasium space and various housing components, including senior housing. The mixed-use gem will be a catalyst for reinvigorating the Brightwood Community.
New construction 207,000.00 sq ft.- 4 story over 2 level parking, separated mixed use, 83 housing units offices, church assembly space, retail, gymnasium and 2 story underground parking garage.
